Have you ever wanted to learn to crochet? Now’s your chance! A beginner’s crochet workshop will be held on Thursday, March 15th at 4PM in the Kids Craft room. You will learn how to make a beginning chain, single and double crochet stitches, and how to follow a basic pattern. Everyone will create a simple scarf for the first project. This workshop will be led by The Falls resident Laura Overstreet.
Future workshop projects may include a crocheted trinket/storage basket, a cloche hat, a baby afghan, or Christmas ornaments, depending on the group’s interests. As participants become more comfortable working on their own, we hope the workshops will evolve into a crochet club, for which experienced crocheters may wish to join us.
Please sign up for the Learn to Crochet Workshop, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or dropping by the Front Desk to sign up. Class size will be limited, so be sure to reserve your spot today. Please RSVP by 3/10/2018.
