‘Learn to Crochet’ Workshop at The Falls

Have you ever wanted to learn to crochet? Now’s your chance! A beginner’s crochet workshop will be held on Thursday, March 15th at 4PM in the Kids Craft room. You will learn how to make a beginning chain, single and double crochet stitches, and how to follow a basic pattern. Everyone will create a simple scarf for the first project. This workshop will be led by The Falls resident Laura Overstreet.

Future workshop projects may include a crocheted trinket/storage basket, a cloche hat, a baby afghan, or Christmas ornaments, depending on the group’s interests. As participants become more comfortable working on their own, we hope the workshops will evolve into a crochet club, for which experienced crocheters may wish to join us.

Please sign up for the Learn to Crochet Workshop, by emailing or dropping by the Front Desk to sign up. Class size will be limited, so be sure to reserve your spot today. Please RSVP by 3/10/2018.
