Chair yoga introduces the five foundational postures (asanas) to those beginning a practice, and allows for the deepening of Asana for more advanced practitioners. Breath work, meditation, flexibility, and strength are covered each week as we gradually build our practice together. All levels are welcome. Regina Simmons 500 ryt C.I.A. A.O.S. comes to The Falls with over ten years teaching experience with diverse populations. Regina currently teaches yoga at Columbia Greene Community College, Hudson Library Senior Program, Sadhana Center, and the Germantown Library. She currently resides in Germantown, N.Y. with her husband, Edward, and continues working at Verdigris Tea and Chocolate as pastry chef in Hudson, N.Y.
